“Junko’s Shamisen” is an Award Winning short film produced by VCM’s key producer, Paul Nandrajog. The film is the talented Sol Friedman’s Directorial Debut and it’s World Premier was at the prestigious Slamdance International Film Festival. The film blends the aesthetic traditions of japanese kabuki, contemporary manga illustration and through the use of cell, stop-motion and computer animation, a very progressive and stylistic short film is born.
